Omar, a young refugee from Ethiopia, is navigating life in Malta. He lives suspended between two worlds: the home he misses and the one he’s trying to make.

The hybrid documentary-short is presented by seven-time Grammy winners Coldplay and One Love, a non-profit that supports displaced communities around the world. Coldplay’s Moon Music album soundtracks the short.
In-Between was predominantly cast with immigrants and refugees. Many of them didn’t know who Coldplay were.
While the lead character is Ethiopian, the African scenes were shot in Kenya.
